Hi Everyone, At last the temperature is getting cooler! Now is a good time to clear out your cupboards and make some money selling your unwanted items on Omanbay!
I’m very sorry to those of you who had problems joining between 22nd and 27th October. We had a problem with sending emails and unfortunately a problem with the phone, at the same time! Both are now sorted so please try to join again!
If you’re selling your car on Omanbay please beware of making deals outside of the auction process! I sold my car last month and was surprised how many telephone calls I got asking me to accept an offer and ‘finish it today’! This was especially surprising since my telephone number hadn’t been displayed anywhere, even on my car!
If you would like a notice saying ‘This Car Is For Sale On Omanbay’, and the eye-catching Omanbay logo, please write in and we will send it to you.
It is tempting to make a deal outside of the auction but obviously as Omanbay Administrator I couldn’t do that! What a good job that I stuck to the auction! I eventually sold my car for 200 Rials above reserve! People tend to bid towards the end of an auction, so if you want the best price let the auction run to the end!
Sponsorship Thanks to all who have donated items for Eman’s education. We haven’t managed to list them all yet. Shirley has been in the UK, and chrisa has been moving house so has been out of action while she gets the new house sorted out. Please keep your donated items coming in though, we will gradually get them onto the site now. Eman has been ill in hospital, but is now back home and getting better.
