Omanbay aims to be a fair and safe environment where the residents of Oman can trade their items. All sellers and buyers must be located in Oman. Only the jobs, holiday accommodation, and property categories are available to associate members from outside Oman.

 

Members are not allowed to bid on their own auctions or those of relatives, friends and flatmates in order to raise the price of that item.

 

Placing a listing is a commitment to sell your item through the site. Items for auction must be sold to the highest bidder if the reserve price is reached. Items may not be withdrawn once the auction is in progress and the first bid has been placed.

 

Placing non-genuine bids, winning auctions with no intention to buy, and other forms of intentionally ruining an auction, are not allowed.

 

Offensive language and abuse on any part of the site or in e-mails to other members is not allowed.

 

Omanbay reserves the right to remove listings that breach this code of conduct or our terms and conditions.

 

Members who breach this code of conduct or our terms and conditions will have their membership suspended or terminated. They will not be allowed to rejoin without our permission, and all their listings will be removed from the site. No money will be refunded.
