About Omanbay Accounts
Fees to Omanbay must be paid in advance.
We operate an account system for sellers. Before you can sell anything on Omanbay you must confirm your membership by crediting your account with RO 2. When you want to place a listing we will deduct the fees from your account. You must ensure there are sufficient funds in your account to cover the fees or display of your listing may be delayed.
When your auction closes, if any success fees are due we will deduct them from your account.
You should keep your account in credit. If your account has a negative balance you will not be able to place another listing until you have credited your account.
The funds in your Omanbay account can only be used for Omanbay fees, not for paying for items purchased on Omanbay.
Crediting your Account
Payments must not be for less than 500 baizas.
To credit your account, from My Omanbay click Credit My Account
Fill in the amount you wish to pay in. Print the paying in slip. Hand this with your cash or cheque to the bank cashier. Ensure that the cashier enters your Omanbay reference number into the computer. Without this reference number it may be difficult to trace your payment. The top part of the paying in slip is your receipt. Keep the stamped receipt from the bank until you see that your Omanbay account has been credited. If you pay in cash it should be in your account within 24 hours, if you pay by cheque, the money will not reach your account until your cheque has cleared. This may take more than a week.
Paying by Credit Card on the Internet
We hope to introduce this payment method very soon.
Closing your Account
You may close your account at any time and we will refund the balance less a RO 1 processing fee.
My payment has not been credited
If your payment has not been credited to your Omanbay account after one week, please e-mail us with the paying in method, the bank and branch where you paid in the money, your username and reference number, the date and time of the transaction, and the amount of the payment and we will try to trace it for you. |
