Ordinary Members
Have joined Omanbay but have not yet credited their account. They may place a wanted listing, and bid for inexpensive items but, they cannot bid more than RO 50 for any item, or ask the seller questions, or use buy now, or sell items.

 
Confirmed Members
Have joined Omanbay and have credited their account with RO 2 confirming that they are serious about trading on Omanbay. They can bid more than RO 50, ask the seller questions, use buy now and place listings of their own and sell items.

 

Associate Members
Are members located outside of Oman. They may not buy or sell on Omanbay, but they can register interest in an item in 3 categories:

To ask questions, go to the listing and click on Ask the seller a question .  The lister will be sent the e-mail address of the associate member and can then reply directly.

 

Personal and Business Members
Omanbay accepts membership from individuals and businesses. Business members must ensure that one individual only is responsible for all the Omanbay activities of the business. The e-mail address and mobile phone number provided when joining cannot be used for an individual membership as well.
